Snickerdoodle Cookies

Ingredients:


For the cookies:

  • 1 cup + 6 tablespoons of flour.

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt.

  • 1/2 cup melted butter.

  • 3/4 cups of sugar.

  • 1 egg.

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.

For the coating:

  • 5 tablespoons sugar.

  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon.




Utensils:

  • Oven pan.

  • Large bowl.

  • Small bowl.

  • Spoon.

  • Hand or stand mixer (optional).

  • Spatula.

  • Wax or baking paper.




Instructions:

1- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit).

2- In a large bowl, add the sugar, salt, baking powder, and melted butter. Mix for 3 minutes.

3- Add the eggs and vanilla and continue mixing for 5 minutes.

4- Gradually add the flour and mix until it forms a soft dough.

5- In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon.

6- Roll the dough into little balls and dip it in the cinnamon mixture.

7- Put the wax or baking paper on an oven pan (if you don’t have an oven pan, spray some nonstick spray or spread some oil and sprinkle some flour on the pan).

8- Place the cookie balls in the oven pan and keep them about an inch or two apart.

9- Put them in the oven for 5-10 minutes and make sure you keep your eyes on them.

10- Take them out of the oven and let them cool for about 10 minutes. Enjoy!
