Shrimp Tempura Sushi Bowl

For the rice:

  • 1 cup of white sushi rice.

  • 2 cups water.

  • 1/8 teaspoon salt.

  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper.

For the bread crumbs:

  • 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs.

  • 1 teaspoon oil.

For the shrimp:

  • 1/2 cup shrimp (cleaned and deveined).

  • 1 teaspoon oil.

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.

  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian herbs.

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper.

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt.

For the sauce:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise.

  • 1 teaspoon sriracha or hot sauce.

Utensils :

  • Skillet.

  • Saucepan.

  • Medium-sized bowl.

  • Small bowl.

  • Spatula.

  • Measuring cups.

  • Measuring spoons.

  • A spoon.

  • A serving bowl.


1- Put the rice, water, salt, and pepper in a saucepan and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the water dries.

2- In a skillet, put the oil and breadcrumbs, and mix for 5-10 minutes or until golden brown.

3- Wash and clean the shrimp, then put it in a medium-sized bowl. Add the oil, garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.

4- Put the shrimp in a skillet and cook 10-15 minutes.

5- In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and sriracha/hot sauce.

6- To assemble the sushi bowl, put the rice, then add shrimp and sprinkle the breadcrumbs on it, and finally put the sauce on top of it. Enjoy!
