Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 stick of cold butter, cut into cubes.
1/2 cup brown sugar.
1/2 cup white sugar.
1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
1/4 teaspoon baking soda.
1 and 1/2 cup all-purpose flour.
1 cup chocolate chips or chunks.
Hand or stand mixer.
Ice cream scoop.
Preheat the oven to 120 degrees Celsius (250 degrees Fahrenheit).
In a large bowl, mix the cold butter and sugars using a stand or hand mixer.
Add the egg and vanilla and continue mixing until fluffy.
Add the baking powder, baking soda, and flour and mix until combined. Add the chocolate chips/chunks and mix again.
Lay a baking sheet on a cookie pan.
Scoop out the cookie dough using an ice cream scoop and put it on the pan with at least 2 inches between them.
Put it in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until fully cooked inside and the bottom is golden brown.
Cool for 5-10 minutes and enjoy!
